Eagle Scout Project: James Bulach has completed the New Alsace Conservation Club Ben Dall Park. There will be a dedication and ceremony for all to attend in the near future.
NACC HATS ARE NOW AVAILABLE WITH NEW LOGO DESIGN – The club has purchased a dozen of (3) three different hats for members to purchase for $15.00 each. Logo is embroidered on front of hat in color. There is a darker camo solid, a lighter camo solid and a two tone black & gray with mesh for members to choose from while supplies last.
NACC Annual Golf Outing is being held on September 18th at the Brook Hill Golf Course, 11175 Fairway Ln., Brookville, IN 47012. This is a new location this year, but our format will be the same as the past. It’s time to get your foursome together. We are still accepting Hole Sponsors for this years event. At this time we have 16 foursomes signed up at Klump’s Tavern. Tee time is 8 am. Golfers will play 18 holes, there will be skins, Morning breakfast and Prime Rib dinner at the club house. To Be Announced – Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Cost for the event is $260.00 per four man team. Plus, optional $20.00 Skins per team. A $65.00 deposit is required to reserve your team.
Golf Outing Workers needed. We will be putting up tents at the club house on Friday afternoon, Sept. 18 two on deck and one in the yard, plus setting up tables and chairs Also, we need workers at club house to help with prime rib dinner and the golf course to help with food Saturday morning. We will meet at club house to load supplies at 5:15 and hope to arrive at course by 6:30 am. Golfers will want to eat before tee off at 8am.
NACC Board of Directors Semi-Annual report – The treasurer books and reports were reviewed and inspected, and everything looked in order. We noted our future breakfast at the Legion have been canceled do to lack of profit. We want to thank everyone for their past help and support. At this time, there are no breakfast scheduled.. Drink donations were raised to $2.00 and $1.00 due to cost increase. Our Trustees have done an excellent job of keeping the club house and outdoor grounds presentable for members to use. If you bring trash in , take your trash out with you. Thanks!
Tree Seedling Orders are now being taken. Contact Dale Back at 812-623-2431 or backdale@gmail.com if you are interested in ordering tree seedlings. Our deadline for placing an order will be September 30th. The IDNR Nursery program begins accepting orders on October 1st, on a first come first serve basis. We didn’t order seedlings last year due to the emerging cicadas attacking young saplings. Cost very per 100 seedlings, plus there is a $20 shipping UPS fee per 100 seedlings. A list will be posted at Klump’s Tavern for your viewing, or you can go to their website: on.IN.gov/forestry
NACC GUN SAFE RAFFLE tickets will be available for distribution at this meeting.. Cannon Safe hold 49 guns. We are only selling 200 tickets at the cost of $10.00 each . The drawing will be held at our December8th meeting at the club house.
Club house will be closed on October 23 for a private birthday party. Club house closed for private party on November 13.
2021 MEMBERSHIP DUES are now being collected. New members are welcome. If you already paid your dues, thank you for your being apart of our organization.
