NACC ANNUAL GUN SAFE RAFFLE Winner of the 48 gun safe was Jeff “Gutz” Callahan. We would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets in support of this function.

ELECTION OF NACC 2021 OFFICERS: Nomination of officers were closed and the following were elected at our December meeting. President – Chuck Schmeltzer, Vice-President – Casey Gilmour, Treasurer – Richard Kuebel, Secretary – Dale Back, Trustee (3 yr term) – Slugger Kuebel – 1st yr.. Other officer positions that were not up for election at this time” Trustee 3rd yr, Jeff “Gutz” Callahan, Trustee 2nd yr, Aaron True, & Past President, Rob Seig. We would like to welcome our new officers and at the same time thank them for their past commitment. A special thanks to out going Vice-President Dave Henlein who has served this position for many years.

NEW ALSACE CONSERVATION CLUB – NACC is looking for 10 to 15 children, boy or girl in the 5th or 6th grade who would be interested in attending the Indiana Conservation Officer Organization – ICOO Karl Kelly Youth Conservation Camp, which will be held this coming summer in June (usually the third week) for 7 days. Lets us know if you have a child that is interested!!!!!! This is our14th year in sending kids to camp. Over 80 local students have attended camp sponsored by NACC. Currently we have four (4) children signed up for camp this year. We need more! More information can be found on the ICOO website, www.icoo.com. The Cost of Camp is paid for by NACC CAMP provides programs that will educate youth about conservation of natural resources by: Offering certification in the outdoor education programs of the DNR., Introduce campers to outdoor life sports, which will teach appreciation for natural resources and cultivate respect for officers that protect those resources.
Campers will take part in or have access to : Certification in Boater education, Range Day (firearms, bows, tomahawks, etc), Water Day at Raccoon Lake with the DNR Scuba Team, canoe safety class, air boat and jet ski rides, Canoe Trip; down the Sugar Creek, a full 7day/6night overnight camp and includes all meals, lodging and needed equipment for camp.

NACC will select Campers who sign up by February 10, 2021. The cost of the camp is paid for by NACC. If your child, nephew, niece or grandchildren like outdoor adventure, this camp is a must for them. It is a full week of fun that they will enjoy and remember for a long time. the past. Remember all registration must go through the NACC for us to pay. Providing the child’s name, a contact person and phone number and e-mail address are essential to enter and complete our camp forms. You can also, e-mail NACC secretary, Dale Back at backdale@gmail.com for updates.
At the last meeting, Members discussed the canceling of the scheduled Spring Breakfast due to the Covid 19 virus restrictions. And also, canceling the annual Super Bowl Wild-game Dinner due to Covid 19 because of large crowd restrictions etc. A final decision for these events will be decided at this meeting. For those members who have been paying their NACC dues at the dinner, we suggest that you consider mailing them in. Your support is very important to us.

2021 MEMBERSHIP DUES are now being collected. New members are welcome. If you already paid your dues, thank you for your being apart of our organization. NACC dues annually are $12.00 and you can pick up an affiliate Indiana Wildlife Federation for the discounted fee of $20.00 (optional) mail to: New Alsace Conservation Club, PO Box 302, Sunman, IN 47041 NOTE: SOME MEMBERS HAVE PAID MULTIPLY YEARS IN ADVANCE. IF YOUR ONE OF THEM, DISREGARD THIS NOTICE: IF YOU’RE NOT SURE, CHECK THE FRONT OF THE ENVELOPE THIS LETTER CAME IN. ABOVE YOU NAME IS A DATE – THIS IS HOW LONG YOUR DUES ARE PAID THROUGH.
